The highlands follow, have mountain climbing expeditions in the only mountain on the Equator that has snow-Mt Kenya, and visit the several game parks and conservation projects around.The Great Rift Valley is exciting; it is endowed with several inland lakes that are very unique; Lake Nakuru is one of the few sanctuaries for flamingoes in the world, other lakes have hot water geysers and huge salt deposit such as Lake Magadi.
The Rift Valley; formed through a pair of cracks is a must visit for has some of the world renown animal parks as the Masai Mara. A saying goes that ‘you’ve never gone for a safari holidays if you never being to Masai Mara’. Also a visit to Masai tribal villages and the escarpments won’t hurt! The shores of Lake Victoria are famous for natural rocky scenery, culture, fishing and bird watching. The various cities in Kenya will offer exciting attractions and entertainment such as Nairobi which is the only city in the world that has a game park, the globally renowned Carnivore Restaurant for all you game meet desires, prehistoric remains of early man in the Nairobi Museum.
